Dianne L. Brundage

Dianne Louise (Warren) Brundage, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully in 2025 at the age of 82. Born on April 24, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, to Wanda (Fauske) and Russell Warren, Dianne’s life was marked by deep love, lifelong learning, and selfless service to others. Raised in Dearborn, Michigan, Dianne later settled in Farmington where she lovingly raised her three children, before moving to Northville in 1988. She was a devoted member of St. John's Lutheran Church for over 50 years, where her faith and community spirit found a lasting home. Dianne earned her Master’s Degree from Madonna University, a testament to her passion for education and dedication to making a difference in young lives. She spent her career as a Special Education Teacher in the South Redford School District, where she was known for her compassion, patience, and tireless commitment to her students. Dianne was the loving mother of Timothy (Marilyn) McCale, Mark McCale, and Julie McCale. Step-mother of Thomas (Liz) Brundage. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Jennifer (John) Ciako, Selina (Andrew) McCale-Zeko, Shelby McCale and Carter Brundage, and a cherished great-grandmother to John Patrick and Lilly Ciako. Her family was her greatest joy, and her warmth, guidance, and enduring love will be deeply missed. She is survived by her dear siblings: Jerry (Joan) Warren, Sheila (Michael) Trist, Patricia (Peter) Herman, Lynn (Joseph) Klimczak, and Jonathan (Pamela) Warren. She also leaves behind her loyal dog Zoey, who was her loving companion in her later years. She was preceded in death by her precious dog Pebbles. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dianne’s life at a funeral service on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. John Lutheran Church, 23225 Gill Rd., Farmington Hills, MI 48335. Visitation will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at O’Brien/Sullivan Funeral Home, 41555 Grand River, Novi, MI 48375. Dianne’s cremains will be interred at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville, where she will rest peacefully among the community she loved so dearly. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Dianne's memory to St. John Lutheran Church or Leader Dogs for the Blind that were close to her heart.
