David Francis Yezback

David Francis Yezback, a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, and skilled engineer, passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 78. Born on February 10, 1946, in Detroit, MI, to the late Ody and Mary Evelyn (Saad) Yezback, David's life was one filled with love, laughter, and a commitment to his family. David shared 57.5 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Christine F. (Jaglowski) Yezback. Together, they created a legacy of love, dedication, and family values. David was the loving father of David M. (Janice) Yezback, Stephen (Krista) Yezback, and Pamela Brucker. His role as a father was a source of pride and joy, and he leaves behind a lasting impact on his children. The proud grandfather of Joshua(Becca), Andrew (Raegan), David M.(Lindsey), Abbey, and Allyson, David found immense joy in the presence of his grandchildren. He was also blessed to be a great-grandfather to Sophia, adding another layer of happiness to his life. David is survived by his siblings Michael (Lauren) Yezback, Mary (Evans) Lucas, Joan Yezback, and Peter Yezback. He was an uncle to Calli, Richard (Marilena), and Michael, and he is also survived by his sister-in-law Sandra Encelewski. A dedicated professional, David served as an engineer for Ford Motor Company for many years, leaving a mark of excellence in his field. He earned his bachelor's degree from Wayne State University, showcasing his commitment to education and continuous growth. Beyond his professional achievements, David was a man of varied interests and passions. He cherished moments at the Lake House in Port Austin and enjoyed the excitement of the casino. Traveling to St Maarten provided him with cherished memories. Known as "The Master Fixer," David was the go-to person for any plumbing, computer, or construction project. His skills and willingness to help others made him an indispensable presence in the lives of those around him. An avid Detroit Lions fan, David passionately supported his team through thick and thin. His favorite pastime, however, was spending time with his family, whether it was cheering on his children and grandchildren in sports or sharing in the Catholic faith through sacraments. Fishing and boating were among David's favorite hobbies, and he found solace and joy in these outdoor activities. His warm presence, kind heart, and willingness to lend a hand will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
