Cole Tyler Antrobius September 3, 2004 – July 26, 2025 With broken hearts, we share the passing of Cole Tyler Antrobius, who left us far too soon. Born on September 3, 2004, Cole brought light, laughter, and love into the lives of everyone who knew him. Cole was born with a remarkable passion for cars— As a toddler, he possessed the impressive ability to identify makes and models with ease. That early curiosity turned into real skill and knowledge, especially as he and his close friend Owen worked side by side to rebuild his beloved BMW. His love for cars was matched by his natural talent for golf, where he often left his dad and grandfathers in awe on the course. Cole was always up for hitting a bucket of balls or perfecting his swing. Cole was also an avid gamer, enjoying time spent online with his longtime buddies Chase Jackson and Mark Szetela. But more than anything, Cole will be remembered for his kind heart, sharp sense of humor, and the deep, loyal friendships he nurtured throughout his life. He was truly one of a kind—intelligent, creative, and full of quiet strength. Cole was blessed with a lifelong circle of best friends who were like brothers to him, including Gabe Clemons, Peyton Coverdill, Damian Barkas, Owen Medico, and Ethan Bolinger. His bond with Sydney Edwards was also very special to Cole. Cole grew up playing ice hockey in Flint and Novi, and one of his proudest memories was winning the championship game at Joe Louis Arena with his team, the Warriors. He is survived by his loving parents, Tricia Antrobius (Todd Burrell) and Scott Antrobius (Nicole Henry); his sisters, Avrie Antrobius and Helena Antrobius; and his grandparents, Kyle and Cheryl Barcomb, Gary and Cathi Antrobius, and James and Kathryn Major. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory with them always. Cole was a bright light with a beautiful soul—forever missed, forever loved. A celebration of Cole’s life will be held at Fox Hills- Summerhouse on Sunday, August 3rd from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. All are welcome, casual attire, lunch will be served, followed by stories shared, the event will conclude with a very special send off to honor Cole. The family will be creating a foundation in Cole's name to help support kids with anxiety and depression. More information to follow.
